News…
Songbirds return to gardens today?
I spotted a Blue tit on my window feeder this afternoon. Later on I think I saw a few Long-tailed tits fly onto one of the trees opposite my kitchen window, it was just one fleeting glance on my way out. But they were songbirds all the same, whatever the species.
Granted the Blue tit’s will sneak onto the feeder at dawn and take a sunflower seed, but not hang around or return till another dawn. And are a definite daytime no-show. And it’s been like this for about a month… the last time I saw anything occupy the window feeder.
Apologies for the lack of substance in today’s post. If you’ve been directed here from somewhere else… don’t let this post deter you from returning. This is just a quick post of newsworthy comment.
