The Blue tits are still sneaking the odd sunflower seed, behind my back… or rather in the cover of darkness… Dawn darkness. But I’m sure I’ll see one on the feeder again soon, once the courtyard comes to life, again. Speaking of which… I’ve spotted a new Robin (and only Robin) to the courtyard… Seen him a couple of times over the last few weeks. I spotted a Dunnock in the courtyard this morning, first one I’ve spotted in about 4 months.

Should be back on the trail on Friday, all being well, see how the weather holds. I’ve already postponed Monday’s planned hike, due to the weather, put it back till Tuesday, but it was very wet underfoot, and the rain finally made my mind up to cancel. It’s not much fun trying to take photos in the rain on an exhausting trek, a short meander in the rain, is both romantic and can provide some good light and effects for the photos I want. But I had been planning a bit of a lengthy expedition, and that’s what I hope to achieve on Friday.
