DUCKS

I was due to go out for a walk today, there was other business I needed to take care of in the opposite direction to where I wanted to go plus there was a letter that I needed to write to my bank and post, but you know what? sod it I'm of into the countryside, its a beautiful day and I'm not wasting it sat inside writing letters and doing business. There is time to do both, but other things were done before I had gotten to the letter, and the letter writing and business was on the "To do" list, I'll take care of it in the morning.

The walk was okay, it was far too brief in the direction of freedom and far too long and unwanted in the direction of my local shop (for local people (for League of Gentlemen fans))
In that short time spent in the countryside or at least on the way back into suberbia, I spotted a couple of ducks in the small wetland I sometimes pass on my walk.
It's always a special moment to spot wildlife outside of a man-made park.
They have just recently arrived on UK shores within the last month.

I haven't posted to my weblog for a few days, that's because again I've been very busy trying to catch up with other things, and it's been hard work and tiring, mentally and physically, but I think I'm starting to make some kind of headway, and hopefully certain issues can be resolved soon.

saw my mother the other day, she seems ok.
I've spoken to my father quite a lot on the phone recently.
He's still waiting to hear from work. I'm sure it won't be long till he gets the nod.
