Can anyone remember going into Dixons to purchase their first game boy?
I use the Game Boy as an example because it represented the start of an era - the ipod era if you like.
Computers have sold in Dixons past (Pre Game-Boy) present and future, but only (and this is why I mention Dixons). on-line in the future.
Dixons is quiting the High Street to go completely e-commerce.
There's a lot of movement behind the scenes from their owners DSG - whom own other electronic outlets such as Currys of which the Dixon name will be lost to, and PC World.
Today has been a Beautiful day, but After yesterday I decided to do the sensible thing and stay in I had a few (what turned out to be) Big jobs ahead of me.
The shower curtain rail needed strengthening and some regrouting of tiles had to be done, also clean up a nasty mildew build-up around the bath shelf - not in the bath - I'm not that bad, yet. I usually stay on top of it but recent priorities have meant a decline in maintenance.
These jobs seem to have lots of different parts - working out how to go about it. - clearing the area, - getting what you guess are the right tools for the job, then going back and getting the correct tools for the job once started, then theres the ever growing mess, which is a job in itself - because there are different types of mess which need different types of approaches to dealing with them but how?
I spent about five hours on the whole project but still had other jobs to do, which I did.
At the point of writing this my computer crashed or rather froze - and I lost the rest of the story, it was good honest, I can't remeber because it's later and my train of thought on the subject has gone.
I have really stretched the memory and disc drive space on my machine and I must have gone to far, I'll need to have another clean up.
