COFFEE TABLE READING

Today was the rescheduled meeting I had in the city centre, from last Friday.
I was going there to get a few things straight, and make sure face to face that I knew where I stood. Everything went swimingly, and there was no real need for my presence. it wasn't a wasted journey because there were a few places I wanted to go to.

I was hoping to get some photographs taken outside but we never really went anywhere of note, although warm-ish, it was very windy and was not the day for shooting especially in casually smart clothing, there wasn't just
me to consider here and troutsing around a nature reserve we certainly weren't kitted out for - maybe another day.

We were dressed for Latte's in Starbucks, which is what we did.
Situated above a nice bookstore, that I could have spent all day in - time, and money.
There was plenty of coffee table reading material that would have graced any central room furniture, especially the lavish photography albums, and books containing pics from all corners of the globe.
There's something romantic in the actual physical touch of the atmosphere of fresh hardbacks and the smell of roasting cof
fee beans that you just don't get from on-line shopping for literature..

From there, I headed over to see my dad, he's ok and hoping to here back about work. He may be going to Louisiana with his job, he's just sitting tight waiting for the green light - fingers crossed for him.
I stayed for a drink and a slice of banana loaf - it was delicious - I managed to wangle some to take home with me.

Yesterday's Iain Lee podcast had finally been uploaded to iTunes so I could listen to it once I got home, I really appreciated it as I spent a few hours clearing things away.

I Made my Tea/Dinner - Atlantic Salmon - which was very nice - not the making - the eating -obviously.
I then browsed through my TVguide to see if there was anything worth watching later - after I'v
e posted this, put the bins out and had a relaxing bath.

The sun was in and out today, the temperature up and down - too basic?

I don't normally see any pigeons in any of the trees in my back-yard, apart from a couple of tree
s the others are weak - compared to the others anyway, but this evening, one single pigeon was sat in one of those trees, looking very industrious, working away at the new shoots and the small branches, like with anything unfamiliar it looked strange. He really looked like he had a purpose - "He thinks he's people"
