After analysis of today’s film, I can definitely state that we have not one, but two Blue-tits visiting the feeder, I think definitely a pair. The more agitated one I think is the female, and is the first of our Blue-tits in today’s video, and the other the male, I think maybe it is her first visit to the feeder, Although Judging by her confident landing on the feeder, and it is a window feeder, not many about, it seemed to me that she’d maybe been here before when I wasn’t filming.
It’s been a real pleasure over the last six days watching the blue-tits at such close quarters, close enough to study their behaviour.
lets hope we see the fledglings visit the feeder too.
