Plans to get out for trekking and nature photographic purposes tomorrow may have to be scrapped due to a bit of a cold I seemed to have developed over the last few days, I've tried to ignore it , but today I've felt its affects more, which has given me little choice but to take it on and try and stem it's bite. I've tried to fight it following the usual cold-fighting advise which seems to be doing the trick, but do I still go out tomorrow? I've rested up today, to a degree. Tomorrow could be pushing it though if I take to the trail. But I'm desperate for the fresh-air and exercise. After much deliberation the best thing all around is to stay in the warm. You've been a great help in this decision, thank-you.
Well, there's still no sign of any snow in these parts yet, I'm sure it won't be long though, and hopefully I'll be well clear of any cold or Flu symptoms, and fighting fit to enjoy the snowy landscapes. and bring some winter media footage to the forum (turn of phrase, there isn't actually an acorn radio forum up yet as such, but plans to develop a forum are in our thinking)

The video is footage I took earlier this year of local Heron that nest here from about March/April time. the video shows a Grey Heron flying by out on my trail. If I remember rightly at the time I shot this the Grey Heron had just been getting terrorised by some crows. It won't be long now till we start to see this years heron.
