First of alI 'd like to start by wishing my Mum Happy Birthday, she's up in the Scottish capital for a few days visiting my dad - he's working up there. Hope you've had a great day. She sent me a pic earlier today via text of the hotel she's staying at, it looked real cosy, although I think they've moved on from there now. So Happy Birthday once again Mum!
I was right about a cold/flu coming on, hence the reason I'd decided yesterday not to get out onto the trail today. I've had aches and pains all day, and felt totally lousy. It's a shame really 'cause I really needed to get some outdoor exercise.
Anyway I'm currently recording King Kong, I didn't get to see it at the cinema, so I will try and watch it later or tomorrow, the premier of it was on the other evening, but I'm usually without the movie package on my satellite account so when I return as I did for the holiday season I don't know all the new rules they keep slipping in. I am aware (recently aware) that the satallite movie channels nine and ten if showing a grown-up movie during the day that may contain guns and language say is encrypted and you are required to provided your pin number to view. I sat down to watch King Kong after looking forward to just slothing in front of the TV and watching the movie after a busy day. King Kong was screening on Movie channel one (or two) not Movie channel nine nor Movie channel ten and began at 7pm, Understandable to assume then that my recording would turn out ok? For an hour of the movie the screen was blank asking me for my Pin Number. Remember that this was on video tape so there was not much I could do 'cept sulk and curse. There was no trace when I looked through the movie guides for January they provided of evidence that there would be a repeat screening, not even in there list of "Screening times of top movies in January".
