I've been back a few hours now from a country walk. With the adrenalin still pumpin I wanted to post as soon as I got through the front door, but as I started picking the odd thing off the floor and put the odd item away , the adrenalin soon vacated me. But I'm 'at last' posting. Posting today, as apposed to the last few days when I thought I'd be posting.
Anyway it was nice to finally get out country-side. It's been about three weeks since I'd been out there. I prefer to head out that way at least once a week, twice where possible. I've missed the exercise it affords, and it shows, I know I'm following a text book exercise programme, but still it does show. Both pursuits together have made me considerably much fitter, and has provided a platform for increased results.
That intimidating police helicopter was out hovering again, it kinda ruined my day really, It's not a nice feeling, the feeling that you are being watched. Myself, acres of wheatfields and no sign of anyone else, I must have appeared very conspicuous. But I tried to ignore it and just carried on taking in the sun, scenery and the fresh air. The natural paths were very overgrown in some parts and nearly swallowed me up. I didn't get many photographs, not two or four legged animals anyway, if the chopper wasn't there then maybe I'd have hung around in one place, and waited to spot something, It put me off, and I didn't even stop in my usual resting place. There was no signs of the Yellowhammer's that I had seen everytime I go out that way, their young must have fledged and the family all moved out of the area, nor was there any sign of the Blue-Tit family that had become the Yellowhammer's neighbours that I saw last time I was over there.
My Brother Martin is off to France tomorrow, it'll be his third (I think) trip there this year.
My sisiter Angela and her family headed off to Spain this morning, about 3.30am I think, for a holday.
My mom and dad got back from their caravan on Thursday, and although it's steaming hot and should just pack up and get themselves back there, they are leaving another visit till next Thursday.
So, in a week when Wimbledon and the World Cup (Commiserations England) have to compete with each other for viewers I'll say farewell for now, and don't forget to keep reading and subscribing to SKYsNEWS. and please leave me a comment. you can now leave a voice message so please go and do that and I'll listen to it and comment on it in my next posting.
