I had planned on a walk into the countryside this morning and getting back for an expected and important phone call this afternoon, but it didn't exactly transpire in that perfectly planned way, does it ever? yeh.
I spent the morning and time waiting in the pm, getting ready, feeding myself and doing a mountain of chores.
I did get out but only to pay a couple of bills. I left my camera (by mistake) in a friends car, who dropped me at the shop, as they had called by to see me about some business. I took my camera because I was hoping to take the long way back and maybe walk the outskirts of countryside, trail the suberban/rural border for photo op's'. I did take a different route home but not that one, and it was much quicker, I got home and did a couple of things before heading over to the large supermarket for a couple of things, I won't get over there till next week, and on Saturday I'll be heading in toatally the opposite direction on foot so I decided to take advantage of the beautiful early evening, and leisurely strole over to the store. The route home from the supermarket that I prefer to take is longer, but there is a small meadow near the church full of wild flowers that is breathtaking given it's unatural surroundings. Cudos to the supermarket chain for letting it grow to it's natural potential and beauty, they could so have easily continued with tarmac when laying the neighbouring car park for their store but they didn't thank-you!
I did eventually get my phone call, and all wheels are in motion on that front.
Went over to see my folks on Tuesday, Dad started a job in Edinburgh today, he'll be home at the weekend when they both plan to go stay at the caravan. Hope all goes well for him.
