REFLECTION

Springwatch
It was a sad sight last week to see the Springwatch team pack up for another year, although there are plans for an Autumnwatch, I'll take Oddie on in a conkers match anytime.

I believe the webcams were up for a day or two after they had packed away? Although I'd kept tabs on the webcams when I had time, I'd forgotten about the webcams, did I miss the Swallows fledge? There were a few birds ready to have another brood, there were new birds to the farm just coming in as Springwatch were heading out, goldfinches, house Martins among others, and did those damn pipistrelles pup?

Me
I didn't get out into the countryside on the Saturday, as I mentioned in Fridays entry (UNNATURAL). my legs were still stiff, and painful with everystep, so it seemed a little foolish to try and get anywhere in that condition. I did manage to sit outside for a while though, to get some fresh-air. By the time I'd gotten outside though, the sun had gone in. But still, it was refreshing.
I may have caught the sun had I not spent so long making myself semi-presentable.
I know, I was just sitting out the front porch, but still, I find myself single at the moment, and the 'down and out look' just don't do it for some women, no matter how charming one is.
That's as far as I'm willing to comment on that subject, just to say, sometimes we can't be choosey, and I could be waiting a long time for someone who doesn't care about that sort of thing, initially anyway.
Sunday came and went, and again I didn't venture out, the weather has been a little cooler and wilder recently, not that that has ever put me off, but I decided against it, truth is - I was a little late making moves to get out and get back to do stuff I had planned in the home. My legs are feeling a lot better now and I decided that I would get back to the training programme that I have been following. I did that successfully. I cooked and ate lunch, rested, and then got on with some chores - dishes and Laundry. There was a bunch of other crap to do also. "All of which makes me anxious - At times unbearably so" only joking, it's a quote by the 'Anxious man' a regular caller and unofficial performer on the Iain Lee show, yes - the quote's probably originally from something else.
Which brings me neatly on to today. Today was pretty much a similar model to yesterday, it was kinda played out in slow-motion, so again I didn't get out. The training programme is designed to be done every other day, but as yet I've never kept to the correct days, the Monday programme was never done on the Monday. Today was the perfect opportunity to put that right.
I wasn't feeling to bad following yesterday's session, so I took that as a green light to carry on, then I'll be back in sinque. In the end it took me a while to get motivated, even though I was in the up for it in the beginning, I think my mp3 player messing up the specially selected inspiritional songs had something to do with it. I was pumped and ready for action, but the songs were playing for a nano second and skipping to the next track, this kept happening to some but not others. I converted the bit rate, and deleted and reloaded the songs, but still the same, it's been bad news since I got that machine, it's terrible for listening to podcasts on - it doesn't hold it's place on close-down. The player was a replacement by the company who I purchased the original from, the original was good, this stinks, luckily I've got another (less memory) that does hold it's place. but I use the temprermental one to store a big library of songs on its one gb memory,( one gb - the only similarity to the original), before most peple knew what a gb was.

World Cup
The British Broadacasters still have no sense of occasion - the miserable sods.
