GOOD KARMA

It's the weekend, it's another glorious day, sunny, very warm and the wind is sparse and not as wild as in recent times.

I needed a few things from the shopping centre which is in the opposite direction to where I take my walks, it's a bit of a hike itself, it's a shopping trip, there's not much in the way of scenery, there's some along the way, but there's no stopping to appreciate its aura, there's no theraputical values, which are a high percentage of the reason I go out into the countryside, especially on days like these, and I am not prepared to waste that for a few sundrie items.

I headed out for my walk. An over excited dog made me take a different route, it's owners seemed to be taking the same treck that I've taken the last couple of times, and if I wanted a little privacy to take some photo's and movies then I would have to take a swift detour, which I did, and soon found out that the crops towards the centre of the farmland are longer and fuller than on the edges next to the footpath, I say footpath - that would imply that it was flat and smooth which it certainly isn't, it's more of a rocky track, where it helps to have good mobility, the treck gives a good cardio workout.
This route took me closer to the woods, where I stopped to investigate some birdsong that I had heard from afar, it also g
ave me the opportunity to attempt to spot any four legged creatures that may live and or forrage in these woods. I spotted a woodpecker from a distance, unfortunatly it flew off before I had a chance to train my camera on it, I made the sensible decision not to proceed any further into the woods, or go into the woods at all, maybe when I'm more prepared and experienced for that type of terrain I will investigate more thoroughly.
I left the woods and continued on with my treck where I spotted a rabbit heading in the opposite direction from the warren I spotted last week where it had Obviously just emerged from.
I continued on, where I spent about 40 mins trying to capture some butterfly footage, I wanted them "in-flight" . I then headed home where I rested on the sofa with my feet up on a stability ball posing as a footstool very relaxing. see you next time... and please leave me a comment if you wish.
