I suprised myself today by going country-side so soon after going yesterday. Let's just say "the
experience yesterday unbalanced my karma".
A police helicopter there to reassure our security, seemed to take a vested interest in me. Miles of
countryside and one figure. It was, I'm sure, meant to be roaming over suberbia, yet it felt a need to hover kite-like over the rural landscape where I was trying to find peace. It was kind of funny really.
Today gave me a chance to take another look at the Yellowhammer I discovered on my last visit. I know roughly where it is nesting. I did spot it again today.
I heard the Grey Hereon's call as usual and I promise I will take a walk into the woodland where it is nesting, sooner rather than later, I hope to get a glimpse of any newly born chicks.
