St Patrick's Day

I Don't think I wore anything green today, I wanted to but I celebrated in spirit rather than attending any parades, maybe next year. A belated visit to an irish bar soon.

Today - it was not too windy, no rain, no snow, but bitterly cold. I've said in previous posts that I sensed Spring was just around the corner, forget that - the next Ice-Age maybe. If it wasn't for the song birds getting all animated recently you'd never know, but then the songbirds wouldn't sense it and would not not possess Spring time characteristics - ? - It's very cold, it doesn't feel like Spring, but the birds know it is. in fact some say St Patrick's Day is a pinpoint calander reminder of the start of Spring - maybe that's how the birds know?

MELBOURNE 2006 Commonwealth Games - Table Tennis
Today saw Kenya bag their first win in the Table tennis with a 3.0 win
over Tuvalu. Neither team has posted a win in the first four matches.
Both Kenya and Tuvalu are scheduled to play Guyana in their Final Pool matches.
Australia are still ahead in the Medal table.

Replying to Your Comments:
I don't get to see as much sport as I 'd like to. The Commonwealth games there in Melbourne looks pretty exciting, I'll try and bring some Games news everyday. As it would be overwhelming to cover all of the games. The more pop
ular events such as Athletics and the aquatic events are covered more widely, I thought I would cover other events such as Table tennis and Badminton.
