Let me start by wishing the girls from the 'Bad Hair Day' podcast all the very best and that we will miss them. Today saw the publication of their 50th and ultimatly last show. They signed off with no fuss, just a dignified goodbye, that is all that was needed, we know the girls, we know how upsetting it must have been for them both to pull the plug on 'Bad Hair Day'. As a fan, I can empathise with their reasons, good luck for the future.
My father made it to London today, he's there safe and sound, I will try and speak to him tomorrow. saw my mum, she seems ok, she was baking a flan to take to line-dancing, I think it was someones birthday, and they were having a bit of a party. yee-ha!
I didn't get out like I thought I might. The weather was very cold and windy, and besides I was very busy with work I had to do. I had a late night last night, which meant I got up late and to go out would have been pushing it time-wise.
I had a bit of a workout, I say a bit - the excercise bike got some stick. I retired soon after, didn't want to do any damage, it's always tempting to workout too much at once, and so easy to forget to pace yourself, to walk away till another day, in sensible doses, when you're not a regular in the gym - you don't want to push your luck.

I downloaded the Iain Lee podcast, taken from his radio show earlier in the afternoon . The time has really dragged since his last show last Friday. I don't think he has a show this friday. That will mean you podcasters out there had better pull your fingers out and get me another show on friday, saturday and sunday.
I've trawled through thousands of different shows, and I probably like about three - 'The Catfish' show lucky if you get a 20 minute show a week, it used to be 45 minutes twice a week (wasn't it, well it was more than twenty minutes, wasn't it, did I dream it?) 'Bad Hair Day' - stopped broadcasting, 'Darcy and Holly show' - lucky if you get half an hour a month (although they are back regular now, I suppose they earned a break after bringing us a 'Daily' show - nice one guys!). I'm not having a dig at these people, I was just bored when carrying out tedious tasks, and before you could say "I've taken out the trash" the podcast was drawing to a close. I suppose some shows just don't sit well on my pallette, there are other shows that I like 'Chubb Creek' - very entertaining, although one of the podcasters of the show has left, but it is still good, and very clever. the digital photography podcast 'Tips From the Top Floor' is very good and educational which is usually a reason to run the other way, but Chris Marquardt the host delivers a great show.
Hopefully I can get out for some fresh air tomorrow, I'll go out tomorrow no matter what the weather, sounds like a bet to me.
