I was influenced by the bright, sunny skies today to drop the work I was doing (at home) and head outdoor. Nothing too ambitious. Just a Brisk head-clearing stroll. I needed the fresh-air and I needed to take my mind off some things…
The blue skies had clouded over by the time I was ready to head out. It didn’t put me off too much though. I just wanted to get out there.
I took my camera as always, but this wasn’t about that. I took rest at the top of the walk. The stile makes a good resting point, vantage point for taking in the open scenery and a place to just ponder before heading onto the next stage, which was home for me today. A brief glimpse of blue sky over the hills, before the icy winds really kicked in. and even a few flakes of snow came down for a very brief moment.
Hopefully at the weekend I will get to do a more wildlife photography orientated trek.
