Here's to longer days... Watching the Springwatch Christmas Special tonight (in between all the crazy partying, of course!) Looking back at the Spring/early Summer highlights made me realise just how wonderful nature is, something you can so easily take for granted during the Spring/early Summer months, but when we look around at the dour landscape as it is now, through late Autumn and the Winter months, and then take a look back at images, like those seen on Springwatch tonight, we are reminded at how wonderful it can be and will be. it's not simply just the otter, or the Blue-Tits, but the sheer amount of leaf on the trees in the backdrop of the film shown, the grass on the ground, seamless as the two meet, one breathtaking sight of green, acres of farmland flourishing with crops, meadows alive with wildflower, and the insects they attract... I could go on. I just once again can't wait for Spring... And till that time, I'll still get out and bring nature to your door...
