The "Jesus Phone"
ihere that Apple's latest gadget, the iphone has been selling out everywhere. It looks as if Steve Jobs year-end target of 10 million sales could be realised, judging by the sales so far and the amount of consumers ready to camp out all night to get their hands on what is now dubbed the "Jesus Phone,". Not got my hands on this precious toy yet...

Weather Change!
I reported in a post in mid-June, that the weather here had been dour, or words to that effect; Still no change as we move into July; today being the first of the month, so White Rabbit an' all that...
It should change soon, shouldn't it?! Yes, but will we have a repeat of the glorious summer of 2006? I really enjoyed last summer. I may have to put a video together of 2006 memories; that will be my next project, so watch this space! if you want to link to any of my videos, I once again strongly advise to open in another tab or window; in fact I'm going to make it mandatory! and again, be patient till it plays; it will play, eventually!

Summerwatch
By the way, the link to the Springwatch webcam is now redundant so apologies if You've tried to link to it. I'm not up to date on the welfare of the Heligan Barn Owls, but I'm sure they'll use the barn as a base till the fledglings are ready to find mates themselves and raise their own family. So now Springwatch is well and truly hibernating till the Autumn when Autumnwatch comes to our screens, here at Acorn Radio we are toying with the idea of starting our own Summerwatch; I believe it's something the beeb are currently thinking about in the future, but not this year. So we'll be one step ahead...
