I spotted a pair of Swallows today as I headed towards the Stile that takes me from suberbia to the rural landscape; They flew past five yards at eye level from me, they are fast, but they do slow down in their behaviour to get a second wind and to change direction, and both chose that exact time to do this, my timing was perfect. I have no photographic evidence, but I am working on Acorn 19 which is another vidcast, sorry, but it's all I can do at the moment, and that will again come in the form of a sight-seeing tour, on-location and in that vidcast there will be a Swallow, hard to make out, Even with the naked eye, when I was shooting the movie, but behaviour and shape gave it away. the picture above is exactly what I saw, every detail when I spotted the pair earlier.
So I'm obviously on the lookout for better footage in the future, but it is a Swallow in the vidcast, well, you'll just have to take my word for that. The unfortunate thing about doing vidcasts with the equipment I have at the moment is the data size they must be to get a decent image. which means they can take forever to upload to your browser. My tip is this, open it up, say, in a seperate tab or page, and carry on with other tasks you have to do, then eventually it should be there ready to watch, let me know if you have any difficulty with Acorn 19 or Acorn 18. Good luck, and keep in touch.
