The sun has finally made an appearance today after a dull and breezy start. I may go out for a short stroll later on, although I'm trying to rest up a bit after yesterday's long "little" trek.
I headed out and recorded acorn 18, a vidcast this time, and not very long, but I'll try and have a show proper up as soon as I can, I've uploaded a few pics from yesterday for you to look at, not a great selection but...
I managed to see my first Swallow of the year, which was a massive thrill, and a pretty much detailed view, as it set out on it's swoop across the crop fields, I lost it from my eye-line pretty much immediately as it set off, I never saw it again, or any other Swallows after that.
On my tired journey home I spotted a kestrel hovering but could not get any movie footage, unfortunately.
Yellowhammer mentioned in vidcast.
