Yesterday's show or rather today's show has gone missing. I made the tired mistake of closing the application down without saving the work - The Show - acorn 17. I had about ten different applications from the same program open, it was late, I knew I didn't want to save the remaider, unfortunately the show didn't survive the cull. So I'll have to do it again.

The photo, shows a Wren, the first Wren I've managed to get onto camera. or even see come to think of it. I'm not someone who goes bird-watching, I go trekking and and if I see something of interest I'll snap it or film it. I'll do the same if I see something from my kitchen window. Not that I wouldn't go
bird-watching, there's an ever growing list of activities I wish to do.
Looking from my bedroom window, or rather facing that way, and spotting a slight anomaly on the garden fence which from there is a long way off, camouflaged somewhat by stray branches, I just knew there was something there, it had to be small, I couldn't even tell with my camera. I just reeled off a few shots, understandably shaky with no tripod immediately at hand, no wonder I had trouble spotting it, the Wren is one of the tiniest of brown birds.
The Wren is now documented, on my personal collection of snaps, no matter how dodgy the quality tof the pic. Yes I could go to somewhere where they are known to be, set up my equipment and wait for the perfect shot, and one day I'll get around to that - see ever growing list.
