The picture (that I took yesterday, whilst out walking) is of a Peacock Butterfly seen here sat on a Blackthorn shrub. The walk was only planned as a stroll/walk, not a hike. The walk evolved into a short trek, with a couple of stops on the way - to take in the scenery with both naked eye and lens (camera and binoculars). The best resting place I stopped was beneath a tree, on a grassy verge, where I sat just pondering. The sun was misty and the breeze cool and cooling, which was a sure sign to pack up and head home.

This photo is of a Blue-Tit, also taken yesterday.

And now to totally change lanes...
Unfortunately I haven't got any Horror skits organised for today - "Friday the 13th" , Like I did for Halloween. To be Honest I hadn't really thought about it till now. I do plan on watching some kind of horror movie tonight though, if I can find one. Not that that fills the
"Friday the 13th" void on this blog.

Don't forget to vote in the Spring Poll, I'd really appreciate your views on this one (see sidebar).
