STALLING

PODCAST...
Hope you got a chance to listen to the premier Acorn show. There should have been
another show yesterday, however, due to technical difficulties with my recording software,
it may be delayed. I have had to spend a long time, time I don't have, downloading some more recording programmes to road test, that time is time I spend on the production of the show, and yes technically, testing recording equipment for the show, is production, or is it? Whatever it is, I'd already done it! I may have to use one of the on-line recorders like Odeo or Garage Band, it may be a different show to the one I had planned.I suspect that the technical problems I have been having is due to the security issues I'm having at the moment...

SECURITY...
I've had some problems with my norton security that I've been trying to sort out for a couple
of months. Nothing seems to work, I was even in an on-line conference with one of
Symantecs technitians, he guided me through, but then we lost connection when I had to
reboot. We had already tried a few things, but nothing worked.
There appears to be no facility to uninstall the original instance of the program, whilst installing another instance. I figure that if the original program that I'm having a problem with is still in the system, my registry will be reading that one, and not the new one? So even trying to install another instance of it is flagging up an install error. But beyond that, I didn't have any time to strike up another conference with the tech team, and to get the same guy, who understands the situation, and how long will I have to wait in the queue this time?

WORKOUT...
I've kind of got back on track as far as working-out, and getting out for cardio work
(walking). but I can't help feeling that due to recent personal events, I have been put back
about 10 weeks. But I'm sure I'll get back on track sooner rather than later.

CARDIO...
I did get over for a gentle stroll over to my local park, hardly cardio... but I had to take a
detour over to the big shopping centre; that seemed to raise the bar a couple of notches. I was out about an hour or so.

HEATWAVE...
I think last time, I spoke about the unbelievable heat, that was tolerable at first, till it
crancked up another 10 - 15 degrees. The heat dropped about 15 degrees for about four days. There were signs today however that the heatwave is on its way back again. I'd better go and get my electric fan cleaned, and purchase a couple more if there's any left this time.
