I'd like to start today's post by saying congratulations to my nephew Adam for achieving 11 passes in his exams. He got his results today, so once again Ad' Well Done, I'm really proud of you.
I felt a bit cooked-up yesterday at home doing D.I.Y .
I'd been out the day before, but just to do some shopping that needed to be done, so today I was determined to get out, nothing too ambitious, as I've got an injured knee, and I've been finding it difficult to manoeuvre. It was a nightmare trying to execute and complete the D.I.Y. kneeling has been proving very painful. A bit stupid walking on it today (when I'd possibly made it worse yesterday), but I desperatly neeeded some country air, you can understand that carn't you?
That was the plan and that is how it panned out.
I did plan to just stick to a short suberban trail, just a walk around the block to be more precise? and possibly come back home along a countryside path close to suberbia that would only roughly take me about forty five minutes taking viewing time into account, not that I was rushing back or trying to break some record, I wanted to savor as much of the open-space aura as I could.
I ended up going a lot further than I had planned (on my bad leg) but it was a warm day, and the sun was shining consistantly for the first time this month.
I lost track of the time and tried to forget about my leg, it's the most relaxed I've felt in a while, you forget how theraputic the open spaces can be.
After a rest at the end of the trail, near the farm, I packed up my stuff (init?) and headed home.
I managed to get to take some photo's, which I didn't think I would get a chance to do, so I was pleased about that. I hope you enjoy the ones I've posted from today.
