june 8 - 16
I haven't been out into the countryside at all over the last week or had the chance to take many photo's.
I've been very busy getting my home into some kind of order, sorting through old videotape, draws, cupboards etc.
I've also been in dispute with my telephone service provider. I've arranged to switch to a more respectable service. An engineer will be out on Monday to service the connection points. I've been depending on my mobile phone and Skype service in the interim.
The same company that I'm in dispute with came and took away my set-top cable box too. I'm a slave to the comedy channels. I've been having withdrawal symptoms, I miss '8 rules' for David Spade especially, Do you think they should have created a spin-off show with those two, David Spade and James Garner? you can use the comment form to answer that question, or if you like suggest a pairing from any show, comedy or otherwise that you feel would make a good spin-off show. I think maybe I have a few episodes of other sit-coms lying around, but I recorded them just incase they were not repeats/reruns, hopefully they'll stave off the cravings.
I've been out for a walk today, just up to my local shop to pay a couple of bills and get some milk, It was a bit of a strain on my leg muscles following an intense workout yesterday that left my thigh muscles in so much pain I have been finding it difficult to walk, but I am planning to get out into the countryside tomorrow though. A long hot soak and an early night should put me right, yeah-right -IT'S FRIDAY NIGHT, MAN ! nuff sed.
world cup
I'm not a party-animal but I do have interests outside of the 'Natural World'. The Soccer World Cup, although I haven't seen all the games, which I'd like to do, maybe if I had a professional interest, maybe in the future.
What is the difference between the BBC's coverage of the tournament and the BBC2 programme 'Grumpy Old Men'? absolutely nothing (and stuff).
There is a certain type of person that can only see the worst in people, these people have a get-together every now and then - to co-commentate for the BBC on soccer games.
There is a type of person that doesn't believe in the laws of Physics (gravity and stuff) - who are these people? all co-commentators of soccer games of course.
weblog
I have only been making infrequent posts due to certain circumstances, and that has meant that I have missed posting news that I would have normally written for publishing to SKYsNEWS and that includes photo's too.
Family
I haven't mentioned much about my family life for a while, only having time really to do nature orientated articles.
All are doing ok. My Dad has had his leg brace off last week, that he was wearing following a leg injury, he was so releaved that he could finally get outside to go for walks and get driving again, they've just got back from a few days away at their caravan. Dad drove there and back.
My Sister and family are fine. I visited them recently and was the first to spot Blue-Tits using the bird box in their back garden, I had my camera, but I was too busy sat outside their conservatory taking in the sun to keep a bird-spotting vigil.
Adam my nephew had his prom night (he didn't touch a drop)
