WASH OUT

Todays photo shoot was a complete wash out...
I spent some of the morning catching up with yesterdays post and the rest eating breakfast - there's not much consistancy in the times I eat breakfast.
I spent some time getting prepared for my outing, where I was hoping to get some good wildlife shots.
some birds in flight in the rain
My walking boots were full of mud so they had to be cleaned thoroughly. All the time I was busy preparing to go out I was also praying that it would stop raining. It never did stop and therefore ruined my shoot. I even waited an extra hour to give it a chance before heading out, but as I said, it never stopped.
I did go out for a walk though, I needed some milk, and was always going to try and get to the shop today to get some so that was what I did. It took a lot out of me, I think my jeans had shrunk (That's my story and I'm sticking to it) and they were cutting off the oxygen.
It's a shame really that I wasn't prepared for taking snaps today (because of the rain) - a duck flew right across my path;
couldn't make out the type of duck though. Not that a duck in itself is that exciting, I can go to the park to get a duck-buzz for GoODSness sake (its sunday). 'in the moment' is the only way I can explain the difference between the two locations and the freedom it symbolises.

I did a few chores in between relaxing. The rest of the evening I spent experimenting and researching possibilities.
