WINDOW SHOPPING

Not the best of days to choose to go out judging by the weather, especially on foot, but I required certain items from different shops and to pay a few bills. I needed to get some strong glue to repair the handle/nozzle on my vaccum cleaner (again). It only breaks if it accidently falls over.
It rained there and back , and wasn't much fun. but I had a good look around - at the gadgets.
Do you think it would have been rude of me to ask for a test drive of all the different mp3 players to see if they met my
requirments?

I hope the weather picks up tomorrow. The forecast doesn't look promising - the temperature will drop, but as long as the sun shines some of the day then I can make tracks into the countryside, get some snaps of spring approaching - Spring officially arrives at 6.26 pm on March 20 2006.

Sport - Soccer
Congratulations to the two British teams left in Europe - Both from the English Premier League - Arsenal for making it into the last 8 of the Eufa Champions League and Middlesbrough whom take a lead to Rome in the second leg of this fixture next wednesday after beating Roma 1:0 at the Riverside Stadium. A good performance from a Middlesbrough team who have been forced to field an ever changing unfit side all season, even to the point a couple of months ago where they were forced to put in six un-prepared under 19 year olds against Arsenals first choice eleven at Highbury (Arsenals Home ground). Last night's game saw a repeat of the fixture and score-line from a competative game between both Middlesbrough and Roma in 1970.
Can Mid
dlesborough Make yet another Cup Final, already in the quarter-finals of the F.A.Cup this season, made it to the quarter-finals of the League cup this season, five semi-finals, four finals - silverware, three youth cup semi-finals and two youth cup finals -silverware in the last eight or nine years? I wouldn't expect anything less, but perhaps a little more from a premiership team littered with international big name players season in, season out.
Good luck to both Arsenal and Middlesbrough in Europe and
Middlesbrough in the F.A. Cup.
