enjoy your pancakes today?
Following a bit of housework, dishes, ironing and basic straightening, I managed a workout and then groomed myself ready to go out, I won't say how long that took, but in the end, I had my groceries delivered, it worked out well all round really.
I did intend to go out at some point, but I was a little helpless in my decision making, I was expecting family, but didn't know when so I didn't want to risk going out and missing them.
My evening was spent having problems with itunes upgrade, I tried a couple of times to run the upgrade program once I'd installed it, but no luck. On two seperate occasions I had to uninstall it. Luckily I stiill had the older version of the itunes set-up program. I installed the older version and it ran ok, which was good news, as I thought it may be some unidentified problem with my computer, it still may be at my end and not itunes, so if anyone else has had the same problems let me know.
I have subscribed to the Iain Lee radio show, which is the reason I needed the use of itunes, I don't normally use the itunes application. I usually record to my computer 'the Iain Lee show'. I like to record and save, as ofton as I can, as I go, a news break is a good opportunity for this, then record after the news onwards, just in case of the recording program having to "close down" at least you still have one or more saved recordings of the first hour or whatever, you may only lose half an hour, but yesterdays second and final recording as I only managed to make two parts wouldn't save "not enough memory to carry out the operation". I tried pressing some of the buttons the only one to work was the record button, and of course the stop button had froze to halt the recording process. So I decided to dump some heavy files, including the Iain Lee show - yes including part 1 of yesterday, but geoff, restore it from your recycle bin, it was too big to go in there so I deleted straight off my computer, it was a large file containing lots of his shows, I obviously didn't realise Part 1 of yesterdays show was in that file, and of course I lost the second part when I rebooted. Luckily the recording programme keeps a temp copy but it contains about 200 seperate parts and you have to install each part separatly, that would have taken me days, and I was wanting to listen to it then. Who knew the tormernt with itunes was to follow?
The night wasn't a complete loss as I had some well earned pancakes earlier.
I was out of jam (jelly), syrup or cream or lemon juice even, so I just sprinkled some suger on, but they were still nice.
The sunset was a more than adequatte setting to eat them by, and maybe a sign that spring is on its way tomorrow - March 1.
Later on and recovering from everything the gremlins had thrown at me, I sat and watched 'Medium' which was ok, not the best episode, but satisfying, spose.
