Today was a bit of a rainy day that had its sunny moments but very brief which was unfortunate...

A new episode of the Darcy and Holly show was available today - Darcy and Holly are a couple who host a podcast, a down to earth, witty, cheerful and interesting glimpse into their lives, they cast from two different countries - America and Canada, one of them from the US, and the other from Canada.
Darcy and Holly, another Ponderplace episode and an Iain Lee podcast available kinda made up for the miserable weather.
I on the other hand chose today to not go out, but take it easy, and then try and get back on track tomorrow.
I didn't take it easy, I didn't go out but did get a lot of overdue work done in the home. Having a selection of podcasts available today helped relieve the tedium todays chores created.

Yesterday saw the 2006 Commonwealth games in Melbourne, Australia come to an end. It was a fantastic occasion in a beautiful setting, Melbourne really is a glorious place I will definetly give the place a visit in the future.
Australia certainly set the benchmark in not only showing how to host a major event, but on how to win. Australia finished way ahead in the medals, which I'm sure has influenced other nations to invest more into nthe development of sports.
